I can never get enough leaves

Love the trees until their leaves fall off, then encourage them to try again next year.

Leaves are so commonplace that we easily take them for granted. But get a closer look at them, and new worlds unfold before our eyes. Wonderful exploration of this other, not-quite-hidden world.
ReplyDeleteThanks,

I like these photos very much--you've captured some of the beauty nature freely gives us.
ReplyDeleteAbout sending someone in the family to cooking school, both of my sons learned everything they know cooking and preping on the job. They amaze me.

ReplyDeleteI forgot to add: the red-headed beauties on my blog are sandhill cranes :)

ReplyDeleteBeautiful autumn leaves!
ReplyDeleteThe painting on my blog is of my cellar door, but I got it as a present from a dear friend. She is the painter! I made a link to her on my post. Her name is Berit, she is on my linklist too.
I like the colors on each photo but those leaves with frost are the ones I like most.

ReplyDeleteI thought of snow when I saw your first picture. Really pretty.
ReplyDeleteAll good shots. My favorite is the first shot. Good work!
ReplyDeleteYou sure know your leaves when you see'em!
ReplyDeleteIt great to take the time to stop a while and just look at something so common as a leaf. I do all the time, it's the same with bugs have a close look at them all are little gems waiting for they pictures to be taken. I do like the snow hat above... do you have any idea what the plant is?
ReplyDeleteI like this, especially the red leaves.
ReplyDeleteWhen I saw the first photograph, I thought it looked like a gnome's hat. That is a great shot.
ReplyDeleteWhen I took an autumn leaves watercolour class this fall, I really loved leaves that had little holes and tears. They tell their own stories.
Lovely leaves and photos! Very pretty. Nice goldenrod, too! :-D
