What a darling squirrel! I got one too! (I mean one who is posing for me. . . )
ReplyDeleteThey're some kind of cute! I love watching them.
ReplyDeleteLove both the photos but I think my favorite is the 2nd one. Squirrels are so cute.
ReplyDeleteWe have a red squirrel that antagonizes Kira every time we step out the door. Seriously. I swear the thing watches for us to come out and then it follows us from tree branch to tree branch, scolding us for daring to enter the outdoors. One of these days, it is going to miss a branch and I am going to let Kira loose. :)
ReplyDeleteTwo excellent photos of a cute little squirrel!
ReplyDeleteKerri,
ReplyDeleteMore excellent shots of the squirrel, and also the dragon fly and your sky watch post. I enjoyed them very much!
In reference to the extender that I told you about that I used with the Sigma, I believe I said it was a Tamron in my e-mail, but I saw it yesterday and it is in fact a Kenko which is made by Tokina.
Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww
ReplyDeleteI want this cutie to come live in the wood behind my house! I'll pay for the shipping!!
ReplyDeletefor me was also the first posting! what a cute photo! I think you have a special gift: animals love your camera!
ReplyDeleteTree rats can be cute at times, except when they are trying to nest in your attic!
ReplyDeleteWonderful! He did seem to sit and pose perfectly for you!
ReplyDeleteWell i think they do too. I wish i could have squirrels around here as i think they are so entertaining great photos
ReplyDeleteThose are spectacular shots, my friend! That critter was definitely posing to have its photo taken. In the second shot it looks as if it is asking "Did you get my good side?" WONDERFUL photos! Thank you so much for playing CC this week.
ReplyDeleteMore 'rats with tails' - sorry!
ReplyDeleteYours are lovely photo's of these cheeky critters.
Cute pic and lol at whoever called them tree rats. My dog Otis goes nuts over squirrels. He is here if you want to check it out for my critter of the week.
ReplyDeleteHow adorable!
ReplyDeleteUnbelievably cute. I've said it before, i miss squirrels so much since we moved to this island. So glad you chose this pic today.
ReplyDeleteWhat great photos! he looks like he's about to leap off the branch any second.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous photo! so precious!
ReplyDeleteCute, Cute!!
ReplyDeleteNice of him to pose for you. Nice shots.
ReplyDeleteI find them amusing, too, Kerri. They have tons of body language going on all the time and when I approach them sitting atop my bird feeders, I love seeing their look of DREAD. LOL!
ReplyDeleteIsn't it nice when they stop andpose for you? I have a squirrel today, too.
ReplyDeletevery cute. and great colors
ReplyDeleteSquirrels seem to be naturals in front of the camera. I think because they sit still for long periods of time. You shots are very pretty and look like they should be on a calandar.
ReplyDeleteHi Kerri
ReplyDeleteTwo great shots here.. as I am writing this Hazel is sat on the back of another chair watching me type, she is flicking her tail to tell me she wants feeding.. I am hoping she as young ones this year and maybe brings them by to visit..
Tom
I saw their cousins in St James's Park yesterday.
ReplyDeleteGreat, really great shots! They really look like posing for you.
ReplyDeleteI could watch squirrels every single day--they're soooo energetic and funny!
ReplyDeleteWow cute pictures. You have such clear, colorful photos. You must have a great camera.
ReplyDeleteOh Kerri, these are beautiful. Photographing squirrels is so so satisfying, no matter what the species. Great work.
