When that happens, I play around with them to see what
I can come up with.
This is a male hummingbird at the feeder.

This is my very first Belted Kingfisher.I was too far away for the shot to come out very clear...but
I was able to salvage it a bit by enhancing it with some
filters in Photo Shop Elements 5.

That's totally cool! I love how you have done that. I have many photos that have not come out well as well. It would be nice to try that. I have yet to get Photo Shop. Maybe one day...
ReplyDeleteNice paintings. I haven't played with any of the programs, but it looks like fun.
ReplyDeleteWhat great effects. I love the second one in particular, it looks like stained glass :)
ReplyDeleteVery neat effects and a fantastic idea!
ReplyDeleteCool!
ReplyDeleteI guess I’m not the only one to get shots that don’t measure up
These really turned out nice!
It's really neat what you did with the pictures!
ReplyDeleteThey look like paintings.
I love what you did with these, Kerri. I am in awe of your talent.
ReplyDeleteKerri,
ReplyDeleteYou're amazing. Great work.
I mentioned your bench blog in my blog this evening. Thanks for being there.
I'm hoping to receive PSE for Christmas. Hoping...
You never run out of colorful things to shoot..I think you invent colors as this is awesome!! LOL!!!
ReplyDeleteKerri, you are not only a superior photographer, but you are an artist.
ReplyDeleteI don't think I could edit a photo as beautiful as you have. The hummer and Belted Kingfisher are very special.
I THINK THEY ARE WORTH FRAMING! I really mean that - seriously.

Amazing! nice work in photoshop!
ReplyDeleteI've done that a time or two for fun to some "lost causes".
ReplyDeleteThe results here are interesting and fun.
Lovely!
ReplyDeleteExcellent, it was your pictures that inspired me to play around more with blurred and then any pictures.. Paintbox was an extention of your inspiration on me
ReplyDeleteWhat a fabulous idea for what to do with not-so-clear photos. Hmmm. I think I've already tossed out nearly a milliom (OK- slight exaggeration) candidates. ;-)
ReplyDeleteThose are so neat! I think it's great that you save all your shots and find a way to use them!
ReplyDeleteVery attractive renderings.
ReplyDeleteI especially like the effects you achieved with the male hummingbird!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful colors -- the hummingbird doesn't look real to me tho.
