It doesn't matter.. it's a beauty! I was graced by ones presence and kindness to sit still for a photo recently too. It's quite the thrill, eh? Great shot!
I don't know of what kind this butterfly is but I really love these creatures. This one on your photo is lovely with its beautiful decorated wings that mathces nicely with the background colour. I really like the whole composition of the photo!
I'm going with monarch based on him not having a cross bar on his wing.

ReplyDeleteIt's a monarch as the hind wing doesn't have the added black line that crosses over the beautiful pattern on viceroys. ;-)
