As it was downloading, I thought, "What a beautiful beak -- curved just so! Then I saw the rest of the bird and can't imagine such gorgeous color on a bird! You done good!
And above all, watch with glittery eyes the whole world around you because the greatest secrets are always hidden in the most unlikely places.
I don't know what kind of bird it is, either, but it sure is pink!

I think June is correct - a Scarlet Ibis.
I was thinking the same, that this beautiful bird looks like an ibis. Wonderful photo!
