"I would feel more optimistic about a bright future for man if he spent less time proving that he can outwit Nature and more time tasting her sweetness and respecting her seniority."~E.B. White
One of my ALL TIME Favorite books as a child was Charlotte's Web,
by EB White.
I remember getting this book as a child and falling in love with it.
It may have been the book that instilled a LOVE of reading in my soul.
Happy Sunday Everyone!

That's stunning!! Love the colouring
Wonderful quote and photo!
this is beautiful.
Gorgeus photo. The background colors are just right to show off the leaf.

Another favorite shot. I also like your camera critters and sky watch posts. I looks like we are having the same type weather as you are.
Beautiful leaf! The orange colors are stunning! I adore the quote you used, too.
Great macro! Yes, we had a big rainstorm Tuesday and lots of the leaves are down now and trees bare. . . but that means, SNOW is coming soon!
Goodbye to summer, goodbye to fall, hello winter.
NICE! And you sure got it right about being only a few left!
Here too...only a few hold-outs.
Beautiful.
Lovely. I'm enjoying everyone's autumn leaves as well as my own!
LOVELY! I'm almost more impressed with the colors in the background than with the leaf! LOL! It's gorgeous!
Lovely Kerri!
Seems like they fell fast this year.
I love that book too.
Beautiful photo - I feel like I could reach out and touch that leaf!!
Lovely image with greata bokeh. Fabulous quote!
What a beautiful leaf! Lovely close-up! And I have always loved CHarlotte's Web. :)
Wonderful photo, Kerri. I don't think I read Charlotte's Web until my kidlets were of that right age. That's when I fell in love with E.B. White. We read the others right after that.
That poor leaf still has some pretty color. Not many of them left now.
I just wanted to say that I come back as often as I can and even if you don't have anything new posted, I still have a wonderful time looking at your old stuff! My eyes never tire of your work!
