Sometimes grays sky is best thing for capturing fall colors. Or at least that's what another photographer told me.

But such lovely colors with the fog....just makes it that much nicer :-)
Wet days can make the colors of autumn even more vibrant than bright sunlight. You have captured it well! We too are having fog & drizzle today but most of our colors have faded with the exception of some of the grasses and ferns.
