You amaze me, Kerri. You get the best shots. Your affection for these creatures comes through.
ReplyDeleteGreat shot! Such and amazing little bird.
ReplyDeleteI noticed the lines right off. Good for you! Aren't wrens so cute? It's been a while since I've seen any in NH and with another foot of snow coming I think it will be a while longer!
ReplyDeleteNice photo Kerri : )
Wonderful photo! The wren doesn't even seem to be fazed by the rain, just sitting there thinking what to do next!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing!
Wonderful shot! Maybe it's my imagination but it looks like it's a little disgusted with the rain.
ReplyDelete:-)
Wonderful photo of one of my favorite birds. You make the rain look beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThe wren is such a lovely bird. I think this is the first one I've ever seen!
ReplyDeleteI wish it were raining here - it's snowing.
That's a fantastic shot, Kerri. I love rainy or snowy backdrops like that.
ReplyDeleteAw, what a sweet little thing. Great photograph.
ReplyDeleteOh what a sweet picture! Like a little window into a bird's life. :)
ReplyDeletePoor little wren! I often worry what birds do in really bad weather!
ReplyDeleteGreat photo! Wrens are just adorable. Thanks for stopping by my blog! :)
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful bird photos! And being able to see the rain is nice too but I love the drops on the branches. Very nifty.
ReplyDeleteHow DO the little critters make it in that weather!?
ReplyDeleteI felt a little sorry for him - wanted to give him an umbrella. If you don't my saying so - if you have room to spare: Crop the picture so that the bird moves a little to the right (he will then look into the picture) and that trunk will also move a bit more to the right. It is a strong vertical line. And if you haven't given up on me by now, move the whole set-up down a little bit (the rule of threes' as it is sometimes called)
ReplyDeletePS Thank you for the comment - I hoped you would enjoy it. I'm not satisfied with the last one - there should be more contrast between the outside and the tunnel in b&w, but I'll work more on the, given time. If I post it again somewhere, I'll send you the link.
What a lovely photo. Wish we had rain here. Yesterday it was our hottest day in seventy years - reached 45.7 degrees celcius and the heat is continuing...
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I have never really seen rain in my photos as I usually take landscapes. What a really neat effect. I will have to try that! It's very nice.

Hey, Kerri. My gosh, these are gorgeous. Why aren't you on my blogroll, I wondered? I've added you because I love your photos.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the encouragement on the texture photos. Yes, they are totally addicting. I may need a support group soon.
wow
ReplyDeleteLove the alliteration in the title!
ReplyDeleteWonderful shot!
That is really neat.I've tried as well but not met with a lot of success.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,Ruth
I love this photo. What else can I say?
ReplyDeleteKerri, you take the most wonderful pictures of birds. I am just amazed at how great they all turn out to be. I have a very difficult time getting birds pictures and everytime I do manage to get one, I always think of you. This is lovely. I actually got a pretty good picture of one today, I just posted it.
ReplyDeleteI love the wren shots!
ReplyDeleteThese little birds can be so elusive! I have yet to get a good shot of one. Great work Kerri!
Poor little wren! If he was at my house he'd be encased in ice.
ReplyDeleteCool capture Kerri!
ReplyDeleteI love those little Wrens. They are so cute. I like the rain drops.
B,
Looks like this bird isn't effected by the rain.
ReplyDeleteI have come here from Ms. SANDY CARLSON's blog.

Your photo is awesome, especially knowing that it was taken through window glass. The light is great too considering the rain you were having.
ReplyDeleteYou managed to take really fantastic shot through the window glass. I like those rainy drops and the little bird is so lovely. It seems to me I could take that little sweet in my hand.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shot Kerri. What a lovely little wren. Your photo does him justice.
ReplyDeleteGreat shot!
ReplyDeleteRegards
awww.......he looks a little forlorn but i guess he will find a way to keep warm, wouldn't he!
ReplyDeleteThat bird may be little but it sure is fat too! Rge rain is like snow coming down in photos -- good catch.
ReplyDeleteI do see the lines of the falling rain and I love them! I also love the water droplets hanging from the branches! Great shot for Watery Wednesday!
ReplyDeleteInside of the lv
ReplyDeletethere is one flat pocket which you could maybe fit a small diary. The lv handbag
is hand carry only, I wouldn't advise to purchase the louis vuitton
if you want to carry on shoulder I know I've had to get used to the whole hand carry louis vuitton bags
thing! However it does have bottom studs to protect the bottom of the louis vuitton handbags
, if your like me anyway chucking your replica louis vuitton handbags on the floor.
