Not the greatest shot....but isn't he pretty??
When this was taken it was only the third time I had ever seen a Yellow Bellied Sapsucker.
Taken on the tree in my backyard.
I can get sooooo Excited over seeing a new bird - or any bird for that matter :)
I love that bird! I've captured them myself several times but they've all been immatures so the head isn't red, it's a rust color.
