Little pieces of my life and my photos.
Reminds me of Marilyn Monroe standing over the subway grate :-) Very sweet moment captured and so very well processed!
I am in AWE of such beauty!! That is stupendous!!Mine's Here A sweet kitty...but sour puss under the Christmas tree with ruby colored, red bows...you need to scroll down on the post, just below my pencil sketch!
With the wind so strongyou wonder why Cardinalisn’t blown away!Red bridge to somewhere!
So adorable! Do you think he's cold? He seems very placid to me, just patiently waiting for spring to arrive. Lovely!Maryse (aka @wifsie on Twitter and using hubby's Google account)
Wow!Great Shot!Photogenic for sure.
Great shot as always! I enjoy seeing how the birds stay warm!
HAHAHAHAHAHA! This photo made me laugh out loud, I love it! He actually looks flustered to me, like he is probably in a hurry and about to be late for a very important appointment! :o)
Wow, love that picture!! I'm surprised he isn't blown away. Such a deep red color - he's beautiful!!
Red Cardinals are one of my most favorite birds - and this one - is just preciously cute. Fabulous capture...
Nice photo--he does look a little like Marilyn Monroe (the woman you mentioned).
This Cardinal is beautiful, Kerri. You can never post too many of them for me, we don't have them here in Ireland, and I'm always aws-struck at their beauty and vibrant colour. Thanks for sharing, I'll go visit your shop now.

OH how I laughed when I saw this little guy. Wonderful capture. A~
This is an outstanding capture!!!I used a male Cardinal for Ruby Tuesday on my Misty's Words blog too. However, it doesn't come close to comparing to this awesome image.
he's so beautifuland sweetfantastic photo
Oh it makes him look so fluffy. Cardinals are difficult to photograph.. that bright red tends to bleed some. Yours is just perfect!
What a beautiful photo! I've never seen such a wind-tousled look on a bird. He is just way too cute! :) Sincerely, Theresa
** wow ** love this!
What a gorgeous picture, even if he does look wind blown. Blessings,Ruth
You certainly did capture the "wind blown" moment! It's always a bonus when we can catch an unusual pose.
These poor little birds of ours are just hanging on for dear life in order to have a decent meal. The weather is bitter lately.I hope your parents are okay Kerri. Everyday with them certainly is a blessing.
I love the cardinal anytime but especially in winter. They stand out so beautifully.Lovely shot!
I love cardinals. I almost think they are my favorite because of their color. This little fellow looks so sweet. Always a blessing to spend time with your parents. I pray your visits are a blessing to them as well. Take care. Patrina <')>><
Such a happy-making photo! We don't see cardinals here in our garden, so I really love seeing other gardeners showing off photos of them.
So sweet ... a great addition to your Cafepress store!
AMAZING shot! So cute and brave standing up to the wind!
Hehe... he DOES look like a Marilyn Monroe Cardinal!
Love the cardinal. Marilyn Cardinal is what I've named it. Those cardinals are striking in any season.
Hi Kerri,What a beautiful shot, i love it almost hoopoe on the head...
Oh my gosh....I LOVE, love, love this photo. Marilyn Monroe has nothing on him with his updraft!!
So this is Marilyn Monroe in red? Cute! It definitely looks fluffed up. The red is so bright at this time of year.
You're right: It just about impossible to pass up a Cardinal shot when one presents itself -- and this is another great one.
Hi Kerri, I came to visit you from Andrea's blog because I saw your cardinal in the blogroll. What a fantastic photo! I just love your capture of the ruffled feathers. I took a look at your other photos, too - wonderful!
