Great pictures - I saw my first yellow-rumped warbler in Savannah, GA as we were traveling to Florida a few weeks ago.S

The first time I saw one in my yard I ran for my bird book. It took me a while, but I figured it out. Last year we had quite a few. Haven't seen any yet this year.

Happy Spring to you too Kerri! Can you believe it's finally here? What a thrill!

I'm not sure if I've ever seen a Yellow rumped Warbler before but it seems everyone else has! LOL!

Love that your little butter butt stayed still long enough for some good shots! The only one I had was gone in an instant. Happy spring Kerri!!!

Love the name Butter Butt!! That's a pretty little bird. I saw a Chickadee, yesterday, and it just brightened up my whole day. Happy Spring, indeed!

True for you- it's here! Hurrah! Even though I love winter, this one was just a bit long and a bit cold.
I've just come back from a lovely walk at a nearby lake- bliss!
Our sky is not as blue as yours, but some bits are breaking through the fluff of white clouds.

I don't even have a yard to see one in! Great photo as always. It's nice that this first day of spring actually feels like spring too.

Wow - what a beautiful bird! I am always amazed by the variety of birds that visit your area. We mainly only have robins, cardinals, blue jays, sparrows and sometimes chickadees. So I really love coming to visit with you and seeing all these new and wondrous birds. Happy Spring to you! Theresa

My son would love this bird - he's at that age where everything about butts, and other things, just cracks him up! Great images Kerri - love that blue sky in the background!
