Great pictures - I saw my first yellow-rumped warbler in Savannah, GA as we were traveling to Florida a few weeks ago.S
ReplyDeleteThe first time I saw one in my yard I ran for my bird book. It took me a while, but I figured it out. Last year we had quite a few. Haven't seen any yet this year.
ReplyDeleteHappy Spring to you too Kerri! Can you believe it's finally here? What a thrill!
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure if I've ever seen a Yellow rumped Warbler before but it seems everyone else has! LOL!
Love that your little butter butt stayed still long enough for some good shots! The only one I had was gone in an instant. Happy spring Kerri!!!
ReplyDeleteLove the name Butter Butt!! That's a pretty little bird. I saw a Chickadee, yesterday, and it just brightened up my whole day. Happy Spring, indeed!
ReplyDeleteTrue for you- it's here! Hurrah! Even though I love winter, this one was just a bit long and a bit cold.
ReplyDeleteI've just come back from a lovely walk at a nearby lake- bliss!
Our sky is not as blue as yours, but some bits are breaking through the fluff of white clouds.
Great capture of that butter pad butt..Glad to be able to read your blog..and look at your Awesome photos.!

Great shots, but its heavy rain here.
ReplyDeleteI don't even have a yard to see one in! Great photo as always. It's nice that this first day of spring actually feels like spring too.
ReplyDeleteHappy Spring to you Kerri. :-)
Love this birds nick-name.... I have been waiting for spring this year as well... Winter as certainly took its toll on me... ha! I long for the warmth of the sun on my back...
ReplyDeleteWow - what a beautiful bird! I am always amazed by the variety of birds that visit your area. We mainly only have robins, cardinals, blue jays, sparrows and sometimes chickadees. So I really love coming to visit with you and seeing all these new and wondrous birds. Happy Spring to you! Theresa
ReplyDeleteHe looks downright regal in that top photo. Nice shooting!
