Well done Kerri this really is a fantastic photograph.... as good as any I've seen in the National Geographic magazines... Have you not thought about puting an article together and submitting it to such publications.... I'm sure theres a fair chance your work would be excepted.
I've seen that same skipper but don't know the name. The way to remember the two blue dragonflies is that the Blue Dasher has a black tip on it's tail and the Eastern Pondhawk has little white tips sticking out. I have mixed those two up a lot! I think just having great photos of them is enough, whether we ID them or not :-)
Why yes, that's a Skipper and a Dragonfly! LOL... no clue which ones. Great dragon hunting day Kerri!
