    I once watched a tiger swallowtail nectaring on deptford pinks, it was funny watching it land on them and take them to the ground. This is a Silver-spotted Skipper, note the big white spot.

  3. No idea on ID Kerri but very distinctive underwing pattern. Only Bees and flies in the garden here today but at least the sun is still shining. FAB.

  15. Kerri, I don't know much about butteflies, but this is a fabulous shot. I love the little touches of vivid pink in it- a great contrast to the green.
