Little pieces of my life and my photos.
Another beauty !! You have plenty of different butterflies over there ! That's really great :)
Kerri,I once watched a tiger swallowtail nectaring on deptford pinks, it was funny watching it land on them and take them to the ground. This is a Silver-spotted Skipper, note the big white spot.
No idea on ID Kerri but very distinctive underwing pattern. Only Bees and flies in the garden here today but at least the sun is still shining. FAB.
Gorgeous capture! Love Deptford pinks.
Perfect close up...http://thehappyfamilies.blogspot.com/2010/06/white-spotted-deer-of-bogor.html
Another beautiful photograph! Love the Deptford Pink, pretty subject and background colors. All make for a lovely image.
It must be so fun perusing your photo files . . . lovely, Kerri.
Beautiful butterfly, and the bright pink of the flower is lovely.
A beautiful shot, Kerri!
Wow. Simply Wow.
What a beauty.
Nice shot, Kerri. Seeing it on the pink shows the approximate size of the skipper.
what a lovely butterfly, it looks very thirsty!
Wow, you have some beautiful photos!

I have to agree with Pescalune, you do seem to have an abundance of different butterflies. All of them captured beautifully!Love the background here.
Kerri, I don't know much about butteflies, but this is a fabulous shot. I love the little touches of vivid pink in it- a great contrast to the green.
Lovely! How cool would it be to drink from flowers?!
