Kind hearts are the gardens,
Kind thoughts are the roots,
Kind words are the flowers,
Kind deeds are the fruits,
Take care of your garden
And keep out the weeds,
Fill it with sunshine
Kind words and kind deeds
Kind thoughts are the roots,
Kind words are the flowers,
Kind deeds are the fruits,
Take care of your garden
And keep out the weeds,
Fill it with sunshine
Kind words and kind deeds
~ Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

ReplyDeleteLove the Mockers! Happy Friday to you too my friend. :c)
ReplyDeleteHmmm... that bird looks a little skinny. But perhaps my big cat leaves my perception of normal sized animals all askew... :)

ReplyDeleteBeautiful photo and quote! Mockingbirds hold a very special place in my heart, they remind me of my late mother who was an avid birdwatcher. When I was younger she fed a Mocker on the window sill every winter for a few years. She named him Mickey. It was so fun to watch him so closely! Have a lovely weekend =)

ReplyDeleteI did a public speaking event in Brunswick, Maine a few years ago for "Longfellow Days." Brunswick was his home town. And, i had a slide of a Mockingbird in that presentation. I have had a love affair with them since childhood. We have them here, but not often, especially not where I live on the coast. Very nice capture and interesting coincidence of choices.
