I just gasped when I opened the page. This is beauty beyond any words I have. You are so talented and patient to have taken this photo. I too LOVE photography; it is my passion. Although I write now to make a living (which I also love), I hope at some point to retire doing photography. I lose myself in it and nature. I forget to eat, drink the water in my pack, lose track of time and just forget everything because I am so totally engaged. Thank you for sharing such beauty. I am grateful. You do a spectacular job.
Gosh - I thought it WAS a Monarch. What a beauty even if it is a copy-cat! Tell, me, Kerri - do you pose these creatures just the right way in the perfect light? Your snaps are all so gorgeous.
