That quote is so true.I think sometimes we just get too busy to see beauty and hear the lovely music.Taking a camera in hand helps to slow us down.Thanks for this lovely post.

What a beautiful combination of words and image. For me the words mean to watch carefully. I just started, this summer, to photograph birds outside in trees instead of at feeders. Finding them is a challenge — and thrilling to finally be able to "see" them when they are hidden.

I love the little chipping sparrows~! The little stripe on either side of their heads look so rusty in color..
I sat outside for almost an hour in a chair trying to wait for the moment that a bird would land on my sedum.. no way~! it didn't happen.. Your photos are so wonderful...
