During Brianna's first year at Radford, we attended the Folk Arts Festival and Highlander Festival. This image is from the corn husk doll display. So colorful and "fall-ish". I especially LOVE the one with the rooster :)Information about the history of the Corn Husk Doll - HERE
Those are so adorable! Please tell me you brought home the little rooster girl? :c)
ReplyDeleteThose are adorable. I love the colors!
ReplyDeleteI have one of those! I was given a Christmas ornament like these when I was really little. These are so pretty!
ReplyDeleteI love the Corn Husk dolls too! I used to have a big pretty one, with potpourri under her skirt. Someone gave it to me as a gift. It recently 'bit the dusk' in our move. :-( She looked so cute on my bookshelf. I guess now that I've been reminded of her...I'll have to get another! Thanks! :-)
ReplyDeleteOh they are fabulous! They don't make stuff like that here any more, and it's a pity.
ReplyDeleteGlad you got to spend the day with Brianna, and hope uni is going well for her.
They are colourful and wonderful!
ReplyDeleteHi Kerri,
ReplyDeleteYes this seems to be very nice! I wonder how they do this;-)
