I Confess.....

..... before the macro lens I never realized how colorful these guys can be. And I have learned that not all of them are colorful. But this one sure was. Every day I am amazed at what beauty surrounds us - if we only take the time to look.

I love to think of nature as an unlimited broadcasting station, through which God speaks to us every hour, if we will only tune in. ~George Washington Carver

Goodness ~ having flies around all the time wouldn't be so bad if they were all as pretty as this one! Yes, even the flies of summer would be good about now. :)

Happy Thursday Kerri!

Oh my gosh Kerri!!!!!!!!!! WOW! This is absolutely AMAZING! Here I've been telling myself that I don't need a macro lens, because my regular lens lets me get pretty close, but THIS... THIS changes my entire attitude! WOW!

I saw a fly on Dec. 31, flying a little slowly though. Your photo is great--haven't seen so much color in a fly. Good job.
