Posing in the Pines

Yesterday the twig was brown and bare;
To-day the glint of green is there;
Tomorrow will be leaflets spare;
I know no thing so wondrous fair,
No miracle so strangely rare.
I wonder what will next be there!

  2. Well done Kerri... nice contrast of the colors. This past week in Texas has been springlike... driving today to a daffodil pasture..... my first real sign of spring!

  15. Good shot. The robin looks interested in something. We have had robins more active than usual this winter.

  17. lovely, Kerri.
    We have robins that stay all winter, finding enough berries I suppose, it's the strangest sort of non-Canadian winter thing.

  18. What a great shot of the robin. He does look very attentive, as if he is looking to see what's coming down the road (spring, warm weather, and lots of gorgeous flowers, we hope.) Mickie
