Taking the Moment

I wanted a perfect ending. Now I've learned, the hard way, that some poems don't rhyme, and some stories don't have a clear beginning, middle, and end. Life is about not knowing, having to change, taking the moment and making the best of it without knowing what's going to happen next. ~Gilda Radner

  12. Yeah, that's always been a puzzlement to me too...that all poems don't rhyme. I don't quite get the ones that don't. Why do they call it poetry?! Why not just "thoughts"?!...Whatever! At least on your blog, I've got pretty birdies to look at too! :-)

  24. Beautiful Gilda Radner quote. I read her book when my husband was sick the first time. It's so sad and touching and there are bits that are just so beautiful.

    Like this little junco. Beautiful.
