Unexpected Pleasure

Pleasure is very seldom found where it is sought. Our brightest blazes are commonly kindled by unexpected sparks.

  4. Gorgeous. The red is so rich in the snow and yet so fragile or tender looking. We are expecting snow on Sunday. As much as I'm not in love with more snow this year, I'm looking forward to capturing some images like yours. My crocuses are blooming and with any luck, I'll be able to get them in snow. Nice post

  10. I knew you would get a great photo of the snow and the quote fits it perfectly. Guess the freeze last night wiped out the blooms of the red maple then.

  22. That's a beautiful shot! Much better than the one I got of snow on the maple buds.
We had a similar scene yesterday but our weather has gone nuts;snow yesterday morning, all melted by nightfall, frost so heavy last night I could hear Buddy's paws crunching on the grass from 20 yards away, sunny and 60 degrees this afternoon! Come on spring!
