  1. This picture is so lovely and beautiful. I can almost hear the red-winged black birds call in my head, too. It is my favorite bird call and I love how they cling to the tops of the reeds and cattails. It reminds me of long summer days on the lake at my grandparent's home. I miss them ever so much. Thank you for this beautiful picture, the sunset on his wings and the flight of memories you just set free.

  9. A wonderful capture! Not to mention a beautiful bird too. I'm still waiting for the redwings to return to our part of the country.Their loud call always reminds me of a squeaky spring door. (Grin). Quite unique. ATB!
