What a beautiful, sunny morning. It makes you happy to be alive, doesn't it? We can't let the sun outshine us! We have to beam, too!

Yes, it's another Hummingbird Moth. I have seen more this summer than ever before and I will miss them when they are gone. This week has felt a bit like Fall with cooler mornings and I've even heard the Geese flyover each morning and evening.

Splendid capture, Kerri! The colors and motion of the Hummingbird Moth make for a most beautiful photograph. Absolutely glorious!
I love hummingbirds! They are always a happy surprise!
That's a MUCH better shot than I've ever gotten of one... They move too fast for me, but I do have video of one. Ain't they just the cutest?
This was the first year I had noticed these little guys! See what happens when you put a camera in your hand ... a whole world opens up!
Wonderful picture!
Gorgeous shot! I've never seen one of those before so thank you for sharing. I too am feeling a little Autumn in the air and we've never really had a summer. Makes me appreciate moments like this.
oh, enjoy that hint of fall. we're still over 100 every day this week here...
Another superb capture. Fabulous shot.

I felt that too here in Maryland. Loving it and haven't had the AC on all week.
We are surely having the same weather here, BUT no hummer moths. They must all be at your house.I did find my first Monarch caterpiller today.
