The obscure we see eventually. The completely obvious, it seems, takes longer.
~Edward R. Murrow
Image made 02-19-12. I sat in my car for over an hour trying to capture the snowflakes that fell on my windshield. Taken with my iPhone and Olloclip Macro lens.
Wow, so perfect--it could be a crystal star in a necklace!

ReplyDeleteI understand the wait ... it was time well spent.
ReplyDeleteI love it! So perfect. I'm studying ancient KEYS - this tiny flake appears yo sport a key at the very top.
You got the key to unlock the door of 'amazing'.

ReplyDeleteTechnology has certainly changed since Wilson A. Bentley's day! (If you're not familiar with "Snowflake Bentley, check it out!) :-)

ReplyDeleteBeautiful macro photography. Amazing texture. Have a nice week. Greetings from Romania.
ReplyDeleteWow what a wonderful capture Kerri. How did you get that one? Gorgeous simply gorgeous...
ReplyDeleteSeriously? taken w/ an Iphone? That's pretty crazy. And to think "phone cameras" have really not been around all that long. Cell phones, too for that matter. the fast pace of technology is almost mind boggling. I remember looking stuff up on Microfiche, LOL, way before the World Wide Web!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous details. It's the photographer, not the camera that makes this kind of shot extraordinary.
ReplyDeleteAmazing picture, but in an hour I bet you were cold.
ReplyDeleteAnother amazing capture... you are surely proof that it is the photographer and NOT the camera that makes the photogragh. Well done!
ReplyDeleteSo perfect that at first I thought it was an earring!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, beautiful!
xoxoxo, cd
