ReplyDeleteI sure miss my birds! The Goldfinch holds a special place in my heart. I desired to have them in my garden so much. I hung an upside down feeder just for them. I still remember the morning that I first saw yellow! I had to take a second look. and then there were more and more.
ReplyDeleteWhat a joy they are to watch. My geographical planting has changed. Sadly I cannot feed the birds and watch from my window pane. I so miss those times when the Lord taught me His vast wisdom - from the birds.
God's wisdom isn't for the birds...they already have everything they need. But oh the lessons to be learned - just from peering out of our own panes - at these tiny ones that adapt so easily to the world around them.
What a cheerful moment this must have been for you. Thank you for bringing them back to me today. I can remember when they came - as I prayed they would - what JOY filled my soul.
