Mother Nature In Her Festive Dress

It is tenderness for the past, courage for the present, hope for the future. It is a fervent wish that every cup may overflow with blessings rich and eternal, and that every path may lead to peace.
 - Agnes M. Pharo

I thought this tree draped in berries looked quite lovely....
like it was wearing a Red Dress :)

A nice, vibrant shade of red.

It has gotten warm here in Altavista, Va. too. But we're expecting ice this Sunday. Mother Nature keeps us on our toes!

I love the look of red berries in the winter. Another gift of Nature--color in the winter. :-)

Is that bittersweet? It certainly is a pretty sight.

Yes, those berries really dress up that tree! Nicely done. We have 17 below zero right now.
