Gray Catbird Fans His Tail Feathers

Look at the trees, look at the birds, look at the clouds, look at the stars... and if you have eyes you will be able to see that the whole existence is joyful. Everything is simply happy.
~ Osho

This gray catbird was sitting in the tree in my backyard
fanning his tail feathers after a spring rain.... perhaps to dry them?

Leucistic American Robin

We need the tonic of wildness...At the same time that we are earnest to explore and learn all things, we require that all things be mysterious and unexplorable, that land and sea be indefinitely wild, unsurveyed and unfathomed by us because unfathomable. We can never have enough of nature.
 — Henry David Thoreau

Seen during my walk along Deerfield Trail, Blacksburg
A First for me!!!
I think technically he would be considered partially leucistic since he is not entirely white.
I'm not up on all of the terminology for these types of birds - but I must say
that I was QUITE EXCITED to see him!!
