When was the last time you spent a quiet moment just doing nothing - just sitting and looking at the sea, or watching the wind blowing the tree limbs, or waves rippling on a pond, a flickering candle or children playing in the park?

Great photos, I love the mocking bird. We don't have those here, or cardinals so Thanks for Sharing!!
ReplyDeleteLovely images Kerri. Have a nice weekend.

I haven't seen these birds in my neck of the woods. Now that I have a new camera that zooms better, I am trying to get shots of visitors to my yard. I love birds and enjoy the pictures you take of yours.
ReplyDeleteLove the cardinal pictures. I rarely see a cardinal on my deck feeders. When I do, they are gone before I can even find my camera. They are so gorgeous!!!
ReplyDeleteGosh, your bird photos are amazing. So pretty and so clear too. It makes me think I'm going to have to hang a bird feeder up on my balcony and see what sort of feathered friends I can come up with...
ReplyDeleteWow, how nice to have these birds come for a visit. You must have some lovely flowers or trees to attract them.
ReplyDeletebeautiful birds..beautiful shots!!!!!
ReplyDeleteWonderful pictures..
ReplyDeleteThe finch sock caught my interest.
Have to see if they are availble in Canada.
Even through the sliding glass door, you got some good photos! Yes, those Mockingbirds are full of themselves :o)
ReplyDeleteWe have mocking birds here, but no Cardinals. Be nice to have some really colorful birds instead of just a bunch of brown ones. LOL!
ReplyDeleteThese are stunning shots, and to think you were behind glass.. excellent captures Kerri.
ReplyDeleteThose are such good photos!! And such beautiful birds. I like the finch sock.
ReplyDeleteKerri,
ReplyDeleteAll good shots but the mocking bird is my fav!
You should begin seeing your spring and summer birds beginning to arrive soon. We had a large flock of robins here saturday morning.
One word - superb.
ReplyDeleteJune asks "Were you on a tripod?"
That would not only be a good balancing act, but painful :)
Your Saturday snaps are fabulous Kerri! Wonderful captures all of them!

Wow, Kerri, what great images. I wish we had cardinals in the UK!
ReplyDeleteActually all of the photos are very nice. And, I must say that I take most of my photos through the office windows which is thermal pane glass. I am not able to tell the difference if everything else is equal.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your visit.
Awesome pictures Kerri, I got some decent snaps of our Goldfinches before our storm yesterdat
ReplyDeleteGreat bird pictures, Kerr! I like them all!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos, same beautiful birds.
ReplyDeleteWow, these bird photos are just amazing! I envy you, Kerri, on that great job done! :-)
ReplyDeleteNo distortion to be seen. They were excellent, especially the red cardinal (which I don't think we have around here).
ReplyDeleteunbelievable what nice visitors you have!
ReplyDeleteThat reminds me, we're out of wild bird seed... gotta buy some today.

ReplyDeleteKerri, the red cardinal looks like Photoshopped... it's got an amazig color!
ReplyDeleteGreat photos and I love the different coloring of all the birds. I wish we had cardinals here, so pretty.
ReplyDeleteBirds are absolutely your specialty!
ReplyDeleteGosh Kerri, you photos are beautiful...even thru the glass. The red is so vivid! I've posted from my kitchen window and didn't get anything near as sharp.
ReplyDeleteI'd rather have these birds in my yard than hokie birds, anyday.
ReplyDeleteHow in the world you guys get all these great bird shots? you must also have the bird thumb??
ReplyDeleteWow! Terrific pictures! Your windows are cleaner than mine. ;-) The birds won't touch my thistle sock.
ReplyDeleteI love your blog. I'll be back! Thanks for visiting my site yesterday!
i wish we had cardinals over here - they're beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI've never seen a finch sock. Kind of cute. Can you imagine never seeing a cardinal? I have one here who has a lot of albino in her. She's fast though and I can never get a picture of her.
ReplyDeleteThose cardinal pictures are simply stunning! You must have incredibly clean glass in that door.
ReplyDeleteGreat, I can't imagine having such beautiful birds in my (small)garden.
ReplyDeleteMe again Kerri..
ReplyDeleteThe bottom picture of the cardinal is one of the nicest I've ever seen.. would you mind if I saved it to my harddrice and used it as my desktop picture? I'd rather ask you know.
Heres hoping
Tom ;o)
Your photos look like paintings - they are beautiful! I would never have known you were shooting through glass.
