If you find a tree with berries, most likely you will find a tree with birds in it. However, spotting those birds can be a bit of a problem. They really do blend right in! I am not sure what kind of bird this is (a warbler of some kind??) but I'm hoping my dear blogging friends can help ID it :)
**Edited ~ possibly a Nashville Warbler**
He is hidden in there pretty good. A nice colorful photo.
ReplyDeleteKerri, I can't help with the ID as I don't know my warblers very well. But I can say that this is a lovely photo. I can just imagine him thinking "Look at all this food!"
ReplyDeleteDefinitely a warbler, but I am about as good on IDing them as I am sparrows...lol! Beautiful shot Kerri!
ReplyDeleteSuch a sweet little bird and how wonderful that it still looks like summer there ~ lucky you!
ReplyDeleteHave a terrific week Kerri!

It doesn't matter to me exactly what kind of bird it is. It's definitely a bird, a pretty bird too! (I knew it wasn't an elephant...no trunk! ^_^) He may be hidden, but not much gets past your camera! Very nice!!
ReplyDeleteIt looks like a Nashville warbler. They don't change as much in the fall. Beautiful picture! What kind of tree is that?
ReplyDeleteI don't know what he his but he sure is adorable.
ReplyDeleteI agree with the Nashville Warbler. Great picture.
ReplyDeleteThis is lovely and reminds me of the wee waxeyes that I see feeding off berries just like this.
