Change

We must always change, renew, rejuvenate ourselves; otherwise we harden.
- Johann von Goethe

Leaves from the bush in my backyard.  I am not sure what type of bush this is but it has lovely green leaves during the summer and then they turn RED.

  9. Thanks Keri for your kind comments - I want to be able take photos that are as great as yours!

I do not have a macro lens - I just set my Nikon Coolpix P90 to "macro mode" and the results have been great! I am hoping for Nikon D90 or D7000.

  12. A lot of folks call them fire bushes, but I guess (because that is also the name of another shrub) a better name is the burning bush. It is a kind of Euonymus. The Euonymus alatus to be exact. I have several in my yard. The one in my front flower bed has coloring on the leaves just like yours. So delicate as it hangs on.

They sure can be a beautiful bush!
