Ready for Take-Off

Another fresh new year is here . . .
Another year to live!
To banish worry, doubt, and fear,
To love and laugh and give!

This bright new year is given me
To live each day with zest . . .
To daily grow and try to be

    Happy New Year! I think it is a wonderful shot showing the action as well as wing span. Isn't it great to have a husband who will turn around for you :-) Mine does that, too.

    How I love the wing span of those birds! We have a heron that visits our back yard and the local pond. No matter how many times I see it - I drop everything and try to get a better picture than last time!

    WOW - that wingspan is huge. I plan on borrowing some sort of camaflouge tent from my boys so that I can get some bird shots this winter!

    Ah yes, one of my favorite birds. I do love a good Heron shot. Their size is always so impressive as they take flight.
