Grackles have some AMAZING colors in their feathers. I had never been able to capture their iridescence until now.

Just seconds before I saw your post my husband called me to the window to see the first Grackle of spring in our yard! Now we're waiting for the Red-winged blackbirds!

Oh my Lord! We have been trying to record the grackles here in TX, because they sound like they've been listening to some kind of radio frequency. Bizarre!

I've seen those colors in the wild, but in my photos the birds always look solid black. Great job capturing the iridescence.
