I would agree with you, that photography help one to see more than others see.Iknow that I am always looking for that special scene. This leaf is lovely.
Sometimes when I take photographs, I see even more after opening it up in Photoshop. But I know what you mean. I love how photography has helped me see.
Hi Kerri, Photography has opened my eyes too. Your comment is so right and the picture is a beauty. Sometimes we are so "busy" with life that we don't slow down to enjoy the beauty of the smaller things. Your photo here shows us what we're missing. Thank you Kerri!
Fantastic image to go along with the wonderful quote! Photography has opened up a whole new wonderful world for me. Thank you for sharing your daily inspiration!
Kerri, You are so right. Since I am "actively" looking for things to photograph, I see so many lovely things now that I overlooked before. Thank you photography!!!!! As always, all of your shots are stunning. Love the leaf (very arty), the birds (perfect captures), and butterflies ( as the quote says, more beautiful than anything we would put on). Always a treat to see your work. Mickie :)

ReplyDeleteWoody Allen famously said that 90% of life is just showing up. Perhaps 90% of photography is "just" learning to see.
ReplyDeletePerfectly simple..and simply perfect. Lovely!
ReplyDeleteAnd much more begins to speak to us. Love how you pair quotes with your photos. I do this with scriptures.
ReplyDeleteand you kindly share your learning with us.
ReplyDeleteThanks Kerri, another lovely image, another great quote.
I'm not very observant, though I do try.
The leaves look so leathery when they are wet. Nice!
ReplyDeleteThe veins in a browning leaf still mean life, don't they? I always like to "see" through your lens, Kerri.
ReplyDeleteTexture, contrast, and character.
ReplyDeleteThis is such a great photo, so warm and rich!
