    thanks for the link to "bokeh", i thought it was the name of a bird i had never heard of. silly me.

    Hi Kerri, An excellent post, as always. Eastman's remarks about light are so true and who should know better than he? And, I knew the beauty that can be added by the out-of-focus background, but did not know the "bokeh" terminology. An uplifting post AND educational. Very well done, indeed! Thank you Kerri!

    This is beautiful - the many colored bokeh, the step up of each fence post and that little bird, captured so perfectly. Wonderful!

    I love your quote and shall have to remember this one - I am slowly learning that light is indeed everything to photography.
