Live in each season as it passes;
breathe the air,
drink the drink,
taste the fruit,
and resign yourself

Tiny Bird on a Snowy Branch

Looking out the sliding glass door I saw a tiny bird "flitting around" on the branches .....

A closer crop and you can see it is a Golden-crowned Kinglet.  I had never seen one in the snow before.
Even in the snow they blend in pretty well with their surroundings.

...the poem of the world is uninterrupted, but few are the ears that hear it.

Live The Life You've Imagined

Another iPhone pic! (I added the text of course) This was a chance shot ... I looked up.... saw the plane that looked like it was "flying to the moon" and thought - that would make a great  shot!

Invest in Goodness

Goodness is the only investment that never fails.

Gather ye rose-buds while ye may, Old time is still a-flying. And this same flower that smiles today, Tomorrow will be dying.- Henry David Thoreau

To affect the quality of the day, that is the highest of the arts.

Monday

A Closer Look

Nature will bear the closest inspection.
She invites us to lay our eye level with her smallest leaf,
and take an insect view of its plain.
