The Investigation of Nature

The investigation of nature is an infinite pasture-ground where all may graze, and where the more bite, the longer the grass grows, the sweeter is its flavor, and the more it nourishes.

A Face to the Sun

As I was watching/photographing this White-throated sparrow
thru the dining room window, the sun came out and shined on his sweet face. If you look closely you can see some left-over berry juice on his beak.

Turn your face to the sun and the shadows fall behind you
~ Maori Proverb

“‘“The Lord bless you and keep you;
the Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you;
the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace.”’
Numbers 6:24-26 NIV

~Allen Klein

I saw this little guy while I on vacation in North Carolina
I thought he was a cutie - but I also
LOVE the bark on this tree!
