Gray Catbird Bathing in the Sun

“Every day, wake up with the thought that something wonderful is about to happen.”
— Unknown

When searching for info on sunbathing birds I found the following:
"When a bird spreads its wings in the sun, it's called sunbathing, basking, or sunning. This behavior is a maintenance routine for birds, and can help with feather maintenance."

Cedar Waxwing Conversation

Think left and think right and think low and think high. Oh, the thinks you can think up if only you try!
~Dr. Seuss

I wonder what this Cedar Waxwing is "saying" to the other one?
Maybe it was "stay away from my berries" :)

Drying His Feathers

The Tufted Titmouse was trying to dry his feathers after a rain.

Song Sparrow with Dinner

During a walk one evening I found this Song Sparrow with his dinner. I am not sure if this is a spider or a dragonfly that he has captured for his meal. Whatever it was, I am sure it was tasty. Maybe he had some little ones near by that he was going to share with.
Wishing you all a Lovely Day!!
