I like the first one. Powerfull.
ReplyDeleteNothing wrong with loving leaves, I too like the first one, the other looks ill. LOL
ReplyDeleteHi Kerri
ReplyDeleteI know you like leaves, so here is a little poem I came across for you to say a big thank you for visiting me and taking the time to comment..
October gave a party;
The leaves by hundreds came -
The Chestnuts, Oaks, and Maples,
And leaves of every name.
The Sunshine spread a carpet,
And everything was grand,
Miss Weather led the dancing,
Professor Wind the band.
~George Cooper, "October's Party"
I like them both a lot. The first on is strong, and I really like the light in the second one.
ReplyDelete"ok so I love leaves"
ReplyDeleteSo do I.
great photos, both my favs.
I'm with Q, the top one is very dramatic.
ReplyDeleteNice job. the second one with the backlighting is my favorite. I like leaves too but every time I try to take a picture the breeze blows them around.
ReplyDeleteNice pictures. Nature is so beautiful
ReplyDeleteNice. Both of 'em are stunning. The first was is a wonderful silhouette against the bright blue sky. I'd do the same if we had any leaves left. LOL.
ReplyDelete"giggles" I do too..I wish we had more trees with leaves, but most are evergreens.
ReplyDeleteGreat Photos
mary
Shoot them now.. they are leaving!
ReplyDeleteThis morning we had 20deg and a heavy frost. As I sat in the woods, leaves which had hung on through the last two days of high wind, drifted quietly to the forest floor.
Excellent series of photos and commentary since I last visited. One thing I love about photography is how it makes us notice some of the simple things that many do not see as they rush about obsessed with their day to day lives.
ReplyDeletethanks Kerri..I needed a smile today.
ReplyDeleteAnd as they say about the weather in Miami, "what's not to like"? Your leaf photos are nice.
ReplyDeleteHey Leaves Rule! Great photos.
ReplyDeletelovely delicate detail with the light coming through the leaves
ReplyDeleteYou have got a beautiful blogg!
ReplyDeleteI like leaves too. They make nice pictures like these!
