The Very Stuff That Discovery Is Made Of

Does anyone see the "partial" heart in the tree bark?
Actually - as I look at this even more - I see TWO partial hearts :)

What seems mundane and trivial is the very stuff that discovery is made of. The only difference is our perspective, our readiness to put the pieces together in an entirely different way and to see patterns where only shadows appeared just a moment before.

Who Wants Chocolate?

All you need is love. But a little chocolate now and then doesn't hurt.

And now it's your turn for an opportunity to try these chocolates!

Compassion asks us to go where it hurts, to enter into the places of pain, to share in brokenness, fear, confusion, and anguish.
Compassion challenges us to cry out with those in misery, to mourn with those who are lonely, to weep with those in tears.
Compassion requires us to be weak with the weak, vulnerable with the vulnerable, and powerless with the powerless.
Compassion means full immersion in the condition of being human.
