within a 7 minute drive of where I live.
On this day it was a HOT 96 degrees, so there
weren't many people out walking the path around
the pond. If you look closely you can see some
lovely benches around the pond, too :)

Very cool. It would totally surprise me to see a turtle at my local pond. Good stuff!
ReplyDeleteIt is always a joy to behold a treasure when our eyes are open!
ReplyDeleteNice to see a live turtle. We don't even have them (except in captivity).
ReplyDeleteWow, love that pond. Great place to walk!! What a treat to spot the turtle.
ReplyDeleteThe pond is in a lovely setting.
ReplyDeleteLucky you to have captured the turtle with your camera!
Well, I can't help with the turtle identification, but I surely did like the picture. The pond looks like a great place to walk around.
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting my birds blog and for commenting.
ReplyDeleteI like your pond and the walk way around it. I also like the benches and tables. It looks like a nice place to just park and watch the water. But when it gets to 96 or whatever I just stay indoors.
This is a nice photograph.
This looks like such a tranquil spot to sit and enjoy. Lovely.
ReplyDeleteGreat Capture on the turtle.
That is a beautiful pond! I'm going to close my eyes and pretend I'm there for a while. :) Great shot of the turtle!
