ReplyDeleteThat is a sure fire way to forget about the cold.Love the picture.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,Ruth
A jolt of summer is certainly nice!
ReplyDeleteIt was 19 degrees this morning here and we now have an inch of snow on the ground.
Love the butterfly - stay warm.
Hi Kerri, beautiful micro capture of the butterfly. It does warm it up a bit doesn't it?
ReplyDeleteAwesome photo. love the color.
ReplyDeleteThis is my first time on Camera critters.
Have a great week.

The memory of butterflies seems so far away, but that's why we take so many shots all year. To enjoy them even though we're buried knee deep in snow!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for that picture.
OK that means it feels like 19 degrees at BBR ...glad I'm not there! It seems to me that this is as cold a winter (and it's not even that yet) as it's gotten since I've been in Floyd.
ReplyDeleteastounding both your header and butterfly so close I could touch but won't sk
ReplyDeleteIt is cold here too...below freezing this morning and we had the tiniest bit of snow overnight.
ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful. I like the sight of this to remind me that winter is temporary.
Very beautiful and a welcome site in this chilly weather we're having at the moment! :)
ReplyDeleteIncredible image and a lovely reminder of summer
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful butterfly. We sure need some warm thoughts today. We have at least six inches of snow so far with more on the way.
ReplyDeleteWOW, look at the eyes on that butterfly! What you must have looked like to him...
ReplyDeleteOh, Kerri, this photo takes my breath away! I am really impressed with this butterfly on these lovely little pink flowers. What a beautiful close up that you have captured! You are amazing!
ReplyDeleteI was beginning to wonder until I read that you had captured it in July :)
ReplyDeleteNice shot, I'm already looking forward to spring. We had 12 deg yesterday.
Summer memories are good anytime!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shot! It's nice to see this and forget about the cold and snow that's waiting outside!
ReplyDeleteHow nice to see this lovely creature on a cold and wet December day!
ReplyDeleteI do miss the butterflies already. With us being in the negatives I'm sure there's not one anywhere here. :)
ReplyDeleteLovely photo!
ReplyDeleteYes, a little summer image to help get us past the cold spell.
ReplyDeleteMy gosh this is a gorgeous photo, Kerri! Absolutely beautiful colors.
