If it were almost 80 degrees here I'd be singing too! I did hear the Mourning Dove cooing before the sun came up so I new it had to be warm out. Sure enough we hit 60 degree's today. Now if only it would stay that way!

What great shots...especially the clincher: him singing out! I first thought it to be a female red-winged blackbird...I don't think I'll ever get ID-ing birds down :-) Well wishes to your dad...
Last Monday we had snow followed by bitter cold. By Saturday I was on the beach in a tank top and jeans! Woot! Today it is colder again but still got over 50°.
