Togetherness

A White Breasted Nuthatch and a Carolina Wren
together on the feeder.
The Nuthatch has his feathers fanned....so I don't think he likes sharing :)
(taken through glass...sorry for the distortion)
I chose these to show their feathers.
I think the wren looks like he's in a plaid suit
and the nuthatch looks like he's in a tux!

Great photos as always. I think the Carolina Chickadee looks like he's in a tuxedo too (with a bowtie).

I love watching both of these birds. In addition to their dress, both of them have lots of personality.

What great photo!! Really cool close-ups, especially for being taken through the glass.

Cute little birds too.

Even through glass, they look wonderful. Love these close-ups.

These are so beautiful - again you take the most amazing photographs of birds - even through the glass they are lovely.

Spring has definitely come!

You must have that camera constantly aimed at that feeder (and an elegant one it is too). Well done.

PS Thank you for the comments!

I'm amazed at how good your photos are through the glass!

I love that you showed their colors. It is so difficult to distinguish some of these birds from the pix in the book. These were excellent! And the "distortion" was so cool, I thought you had done it purposely. It looks like the birds were painted on a screen painted with background vegetation. I loved it.

Beautiful shots. Wrens are one of my favorite birds, but alas another species that I have no good stills of.

Your photos always look great, whether they are taken through glass or not!

I love the collage - the details on the wings are marvelous!

This is a wonderful capture ... i love birds. One thing that many people don't know about birds is that they are very intelligent. Calling someone a 'bird brain' should be a compliment.
