I could not agree more it does have everything in it I think of when spring arrives. And it is a fantastic photograph, it is always so hard to capture rain in a photo like this. I always feel reborn when spring arrives, and for some reason I feel like I should listen to John Couger's music.

Yes, a super duper spring picture. Still some snow in my back yard today, but the sun is shining and the sky is blue so I'm not complaining. I'm looking forward to being able to start the back yard clean-up after such a long cold and rough winter. Happy Spring to you!

How cute he is! I didn't have a single White-Crowned sparrow so far this year. My maple may be a sugar maple, but I'm not sure about that.
You got him just right. I love these little birds and seeing someone else like them is special. That white crown is easy to spot in the wilderness.
