A Bench for Friday

A few weeks ago my hubby and I visited Natural Bridge. The
stairs leading down to the bridge were quite steep...which wasn't
a problem when you are going down....but coming up was another
story entirely! This was a welcome bench along the way!

Why not join in and post a bench on Friday....or any other day of the week.
Leave me a comment and let me know so I can see what kind of benches
you have in your neck of the woods!

  1. Your bench looked like a real handmade, local bench - the best kind. It must have been great after a long climb to just sit down and enjoy both view and air :-)

PS Thank you for the comment and the "plu" for my blog! :-)

  2. This is a really nice bench and looks handmade. Those are often the best to set anything on. Nice blog too.

Thanks for your visit to my blog. I hope you can get around to my other new one. Pick a Peck of Pixels.

  3. Kerri, you might get two comments from me;( (hit a key when I didn't mean to!!) Anyway, love this bench idea. I'm looking for benches that I can place around our yard. It's VERY hot in Florida in summertime but we still have to weed, plant and ENJOY! So, I was thinking of benches here and there to enjoy the birds, insects, butterflies, bunnies, etc. that come through.

  4. So neat to see a post of a picture of something that you've actually visited. My husband and I took the bus back to the top. A very nice place to visit - very pretty!

  10. I'd love to "set a spell" there as my grandmother would say.

It's been a long time since I've seen hilly terrain and streams like that in person.

    I need a road trip!

  11. That would be a most welcoming bench! It looks like one board is missing from the seat tho. I wonder what happened to it?
