Dragons Don't Scare Me Anymore

Practicing with the Macro Lens.
As a child I was really scared of dragonflies.
Now I see nothing but beauty! They are such unique creatures!

I love your photography. Not especially fond of dragonflies if they are near me but I do think they are interesting creatures.

They're beauties indeed. I too, was afraid of them as a child. I thought they'd be a stinging insect. The term "darning needle" didn't help on that account. Now I see them as magic. My absolute favourite insect. :) You did a fine job capturing these.

You are amazing photographer! It isn't easy at all to take a photo of dragonfly. But you have managed to take fantastic photos of it. it looks like this beautiful creature posed just for you. All the details are so clear and the green background makes my eyes good.

I finally found a little spot on our property this week but the little dragons are proving to be too fast for me. :) I'm practicing.

That's fantastic! With a macro lens? How did he let you get that close? I can never capture them, they are so quick to fly away! Wonderful, Kerri!

Fantastic shots. You really got close.

Dragonflies are indeed unique, and they also help control some of the scarier flying insects.
