Wow 11 inches of snow. I got six and half and spent the day taking photo of the birds. I love your photo of the squirrel. It looks like a red squirrel. Is that correct?
I agree they are cute - but they are also viscous! The red ones chase our greys all over - and then of course there was they year they lived in my attic and kept us up night after night, scurrying and rolling nuts.
When we finally got rid of them and closed off where they were coming in (we had a new roof put on and the guys never put the screen back in on the exhaust fan) we had close to 2 full trash bags of black walnuts they had hidden and stored in our attic (which was not accessible to us except through a crawly hole in my sons closet).
Now that I have that off my chest - it is a great picture!!

Wonderful shot Kerri!
Thankfully we only got about two inches of snow from that storm.
Great shot!
This squirrel should be proud of the beautiful picture you took of him.

Squirrels .... they're pretty darned cute when they're not being rascals and raiding the feeders!
Cute shot of the squirrel, Kerri!
I love how you can see all the little flakes on his nose! What a wonderful shot Kerri! 11"???? Ack! And here I am whining about 4!
What a great closeup. I can even see a few snow flakes on him.
I like the way his fur is speckled with snow. He was posing for you.

We've had a lot of birds and squirrels out too. With their food covered up with the snow, they are frantic at the feeders.
Lovely shot of the squirrel.
What a fantastic shot Kerri.
