One of my photos from vacation ~ taken at the NC Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores. They have a FANTASTIC boardwalk area that takes you to little marshes. This is closely cropped so a bit of distortion. I am not sure of the ID on this lovely ~ but one thing I know for sure ~ he blends in to his surroundings quite nicely :) Friday

He certainly does, Kerri, even his shape echoes that of the branch on which he stands.
Fabulous Friday to you too!
What a cool photo Kerri! He really does blend into the woodwork. :c) Have a wonderful Friday! Your surprise is in the mail.
It's always magnificent to see larger birds, isn't it? Lovely shot!
He sure does blend in well!! Great capture!!
A person could easily miss that one.Even cropped, this is a great image.
Blessings,Ruth
Nice piece of camouflage. I'll take a guess Kerri that this is a juvenile Yellow-crowned Night Heron.
i have no idea what kind of bird this is, but he's very handsome!
What a gorgeous sweet bird..and such exquisite detail. Very nice!
Kerri, it's amazing how they blend in.
