A Tasty Treat for a Cedar Waxwing

Wake up with a smile and go after life .... Live it, enjoy it, taste it, smell it, feel it.

This cedar waxwing is getting ready to feast on a what looks to be a wasp. I wonder how they eat them without getting stung?

Gosh, he's brave! Is the wasp alive, presume it is, so yes, I wonder how he doesn't get stung.
Kerri, I love your quotes, where do you get such beautiful ones?

The bird with his lunch and the backdrop of yellow is a perfect fall photo, Kerri.

What an excellent moment you got there, Kerri. I've read that there are birds that will eat bees and wasps. I think they're careful eating them although it makes you wonder about the venom.

Wow, the last article I read about Cedar Waxwings went on and on about its diet being 98% fruit. This shot is so cool documenting the 2%.
